Just a small roundup of a few bits and pieces.  First off, an update to let you know where I have been.  I've just moved house and obviously that took a while to pack and the house I've moved into has no internet however I have now got a laptop which I bought last month and with this I got a dongle to access the net via the 3 mobile phone network.  Unfortunately this doesn't give me a ping under 120 so playing is not possible unfortunately however I'm going to be still on the site a lot.  As a few of you know, I will also be moving to Brighton in the next few months (it's very vague at the moment) to start working for British Airways however I am currently in a holding pool, waiting for a start date for my course so there is little point in starting a new contract at my current house as I'll have to spend money on line activation in 2 properties in a short space of time.  Anyway, Dagfari has stepped up to the mark and is proving to be a great assistant so please give him the respect and patience he may need and deserves-thanks for all your help mate

To help him, along with Paladus' recent cut back in availability, we have decided to promote another member to admin so congratulations Mally.  Mally is always one of the first people on the server, helping get it populated and is the most active member on the server.  A very well deserved promotion and I know the clan will be in safe hands-well done mate and thanks for stepping up to the plate

We also welcome Kail to the clan after a successful trial.  Well done mate-sorry for the delay but see above for the excuse...

We have now (belatedly-sorry guys) increased the size of our heard by a further 2 new full members so well done Bone and Wing.  Nice to have you both on board now and we look forward to you being members for a long time to come

Today we have promoted Dagfari to admin.  Since joining us, he has acted in a fantastic manner and as the clan keeps growing, we need to ensure adequate coverage and as he is one of the most active members, we felt he would be suited tot he role.  Congratulations mate and well deserved.  Well done

Our latest trialist, Bone, runs a dedicated server for running websites on and has some spare space on it at the moment so has donated a new server running on that machine.  We haven't decided what to do with it at the moment so it's currently running in vanilla mode.  If you would like to see one of our servers running something in particular, please post HERE and if it proves a popular idea, we'll look at implementing it.  In the meantime enjoy our latest server

The heavy update has been released.  7 new maps(albeit 3 are remakes of well, granary and badlands), 3 new unlockable weapons (including what will soon be a big hit-the Sandvich), 35 achievements and a load of bug fixes.  So far the new game mode Arena seems really good.  You'll find that you have to sit out a fair few rounds when the server is busy but it's very quick and fun-no respanws tho

Our servers have all be updated and the 24/7 has been rebranded for the foreseeable future into a new maps only server

Today we see the amount of people that have joined our Steam community page for CaLF pass the 1000 mark.  Member Stewie was the 1000th member to join-lets have a party-woohoo!

This is fantastic growth-we've only been going for 3 months and to have this many people in our community is astounding!  Keep up the good work guys and hopefully we'll get to the 10,000 members point soon

Today we add our 3rd admin.  After being one of the most active and skilled members on the server, we today welcome Paladus as an admin.  Congratulations mate.  Hopefully you'll enjoy the responsibility of slapping the brats that try to ruin the server
